    Thinking About Remakes/Remastered Games


    ok so i know this is a common theme these days but what i want to see is games that haven't been released in the past decade like Gears, idk why we have a remastered Gears of War but games like Manhunt or The Suffering haven't even been touched since Playstation
    2 and both those games with new graphics would be amazing and also would do well for the horror genre but instead we just keep getting Resident evil remakes and Remastered versions year after year. Iam sure there are alot of people who would by the original
    Manhunt if it was remastered in HD i cant be the only one.

    Who's excited that Capcom is bring REmake Remastered?

    So Capcom announced that they'll be releasing REmake Remaster which is a remaster of the old Gamecube Resident Evil Remake. For once I agree of this remake because it's an awesome game but was exclusive to Nintendo. Now people that didn't get to play the game will be able to play it. I think this is a right move because remasters should be from old games and not games released a year or two ago.

    Please! Please! Please Acivision do not make a remake, remastered set of COD games that are pretty much a remake of themselves. Please focus on new content with new game play.

    What about Condemned or dead space with the power of the xbox one these games would be great additions to the other remastered tittles, back to the whole Manhunt thing i wouldn't even mind if they did a remake with the main character and added some back
    story and some more levels or just take what they had and just add more levels. What about a game like Dino Crises haven't seen anything from that universe for a long time either, just saying there are a lot of long lost gems out in the gaming world that companies
    could remake for a new generation to enjoy and still target the old audience that played them in their teenage years or older who would still buy these games to enjoy all over again.

    I think there will be less remasters in the future (don't quote me on that) but I agree. Some of the original Xbox games would be amazing remastered for X1.

    Remakes and remasters can be awesome if the developers really take the time to polish everything. I think a good remaster/remake should feel like it could be a brand new game which was just released this year. But sadly a lot of remaster offer nothing
    more than some better graphics and a better frame rate. I think the old Hitman games could really benefit from a good remake since they were very ambitious games and turned out a bit clunky back then. It would be amazing to see a remake with the current features
    Hitman 2 has.
