    Title explains it, this game was working perfectly until the forced patch. Now the game will not launch, I've tried every recommended fix, even downloaded a second time only to get the same errors. 0xc0000005 or 09 or 01, doesn't matter. Same three codes cycle through different suggested fixes.

    Make the game work or give us back our money. Simple.

    What platform are you playing on?

    Windows has just gotten the major fall update if you are on PC, and you are required to update to continue to access the services

    incorrect, you don't need to update windows to the latest update for gamepass or any games to work, i am still rocking the previous update from last autumn. just update the xbox app via the store only.

    In case your refund gets denied, you can actually file an appeal for the results of the refund.

    All you need to do is to reply to the email that was sent to you by the refund team, you can reply with a detailed explanation so they can review your request again and grant you a possible exception.
