There’s something in my gamertag I didn’t put.

That's a suffix given when you change your tag to something that someone else already has or it has special characters in it. It's to help differentiate you from anyone else on the servers who has the same tag. The only way to remove it is to change your gamertag to something nobody else has.

Clearly you didn’t read what I typed. I have the Gamertag as my classic tag because I wasn’t able to put it as my top Gamertag without it giving me #’s, but when I put it as my classic Gamertag it worked perfectly fine. Then when I go to fix it and get rid of the #’s it lets me but doesn’t go though and gives me an error message.

Well when trying to purchase something it basically acts as if I didn’t have any money in my account and tells me to put a way to pay but as I said before I have money in the account

The problem is I have to pay to get rid of the suffix and put the same gamertag is there anyway to not pay because I didn’t know that it will have suffix even though if I changed it on the old account and deleted the account.
