Thank you for that. One last thing, do you have a different network connection that we can try to use? It can be a mobile hotspot. Just to test it out and if ever that still didn't work, we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps.

Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Thanks, Thomas. We may need to refresh the connection between the Xbox and your router. Please follow the steps below:

"1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

Thank you for the reply. I have a second xbox and all services are working fine on it, telling me it’s an issue with the xbox itself.

"This may mean that there’s a temporary problem with the Xbox network."

As I have checked, there is a service alert status for the following services:

Store & Subscriptions - Viewing games (You might not see a game you're looking for in the Store right now.)

Games & Gaming - Game management (You may have problems updating, uninstalling or managing add-ons for your games.)

You can try performing a powercycle on your console and if that didn't work, we may need to wait for the service outage to be fixed:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

I tried your first mentioned method THEN reset my MAC address and all is working now.
