There was problem getting your captures try again in a bit. And Can not change the place...

I'm an Independent advisor and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Usually this problem happens because you changed the location of saving Windows video library. Probably the gamebar Gallery/Captures folder must be trying to save its captures in the old location that is no longer available, so it resorts to the Temp folder.

Try resetting the location to your root folder, and test:

Press Windows+R keys, type regedit and click OK;

Navigate to this Key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

In the right hand pane, do you see this exact item:

{EDC0FE71-98D8-4F4A-B920-C8DC133CB165}

If so double click that and set its value to:

%USERPROFILE%\Videos\Captures

If you do not see that in the right hand pane:

Right click in an empty part of the right hand pane and choose New - 'Expandable String Value'

Paste this as its name:

{EDC0FE71-98D8-4F4A-B920-C8DC133CB165}

Then double click that new string and set its value as:

%USERPROFILE%\Videos\Captures

Restart the system and test.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Xbox app and Xbox Game Bar:

Press Windows+i keys, click Apps > Apps and features;

Look for Xbox in the list and click on Advanced Options;

Click Restore.

Tip: Perform the same procedure, however, with the Xbox Game Bar.

I want the app to upload it to Xbox network so i can share the link.

I dont want to send the file using a specific software/website, i want it to be on the network as I'm used to do on my xbox, i always capture and it automatically uploads the capture to the xbox network and i usually share the link for the clip/capture.

As shown in the image attached the game bar says "there was a problem getting the link for this capture. Try again in a little bit."

Yeah the software will output in HD, the problem is you're only capturing it in SD - and only 420p I believe. Look it up yourself on the net, I did a bit meself when I was considering buying it. To output to 720p HD or even more you can use the software
but you'll need a HD capture device.



Those videos you output will say 720p HD but it's from SD video captured in the first place.

Try changing your capture setting, you can capture up to 5 minutes of 720p video or 2 minutes of 1080p video.

M3tal Daz3, Yeah, like I said it will make clips and take screenshots, I just can't SAVE any of them. Going into Game DVR I can either select one and get this message:

"Capture not saved

Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. Please try again."

Or all of them and get this slightly different one:

"No captures saved

Sorry, none of your selected captures were saved. Please try again."

And no other info is provided as to why. No error code. And after awhile, unsaved screens/clips get deleted automatically.
