    There was a problem with the update. 0x80070570


    On Xbox One S.

    While playing a game online the console decided it wanted to update, cut me from the game and sent me to the update screen.

    I was given the option to start a 614.0 MB update. It starts and downloads approximately 3% of the update then stops and says, "There was a problem with the update".

    I am given the error codes:

    0x80070570 0x00000000 0x90000005.

    I have tried to restart the update but the same thing happens.

    I have checked the network status.

    I have unplugged the console from the mains powers for a time to clear the cache but the same error occurs.

    I have done a factory reset keeping installed games and apps but it doesn't fix the problem.

    Please help!

    The error code im getting is 0x80070570 0x00000000 0x90000005 .i have tryed an offline update with update file osi1 but still same problem

    Thanks for your reply.

    I do not use Insider - so that won't be the issue.

    I have recently had to do a manual offline update 10 days ago because the console crashed. It gave me an E106 error code.

    I think it may be an issue with the hard drive - but I cannot be sure.

    I will try an offline update again to see if it sorts the problem.

    My Xbox is definitely out of warranty. And the cost of repair is probably better spent towards a brand new Xbox Series X.

    Could you possibly explain why a Xbox hard drive might become corrupted and cause issues?
