“There was a problem” sign in prompt

Once they are all up to date, go ahead give it another shot.

You can also setup Auto-sign in by following the steps below:

1. Sign in to Xbox Live.
2. Select Settings, and then select Profile.
3. Select Sign-in Preferences.
4. Select Auto Sign-in, and then make the changes that you want.

I was having the same problem. I signed out, hit play Titanfall and waited until the load screen prompted me to sign in and update. Worked like a charm!

If no one is signed in it prompts me to sign in. I have done multiple hard resets and checked for updates. Nothing has been able to solve this problem thus far

Thanks but maybe I wasn't clear. The sim did save my credentials but it still gives me the sign in prompt. After the prompt it displays my account and when I select it the next prompt is: "Welcome back". I'm never asked for the login ID or password since it already remembers that. I guess the real problem is that it doesn't authenticate me automatically but instead I get the sign in prompt. Prior to this it would just launch and go to the main menu where I was already logged in. So what's changed? Why am I asked to sign in and go through the prompts even though it remembers my credentials?

I'm having the same problem and this has been happening since 8/26, what the heck is the problem. On 8/26, I get this prompt that Microsoft needed my email address and password for live sign in so I go through the motion. Since then my system does not recognize
my auto sign in preference, and when I try to play my single player games I'm prompted to sign in even though I've already done that. This is not normal and I'm not finding any support. What gives Microsoft?
