There was a problem following this game

Hi,

I play a lot of Destiny on the Xbox One and I have tried following the game but every time I try it comes up with this error: -

'There was a problem following game' Sorry about that. Try again later.

Does anyone know what the cause of the problem may be? I have no issues with following my other games.

I havent done as you suggested however I did purchase a new Xbox One S recently and re-installed the game from a back up and still have the same issue.

 

Hey xxSlyViPeRxx! When you say from a back up did you get it from an external hard drive you already had the game installed on? I would suggest uninstalling the game and reinstalling it through the console. Post back and let me know how it goes!

 

I have uninstalled Destiny and re-installed by downloading it and I am still unable to follow the game. I get the same error.

 

Hey xxSlyViPeRxx! Are you able to follow the game through the PC Xbox app? Give that a shot and let me know how it goes!

 

I am not able to follow it through the Xbox app either. When I click the follow button nothing happens at all.

Hi Mister Cizl, I have tried on both my PC (Laptop) and the iPhone app and both do not work. I hope this helps.

Yes I am able to follow other games no problem.

 

Somehow this is now fixed. Must have been an update that fixed it.
