My account still says there is a problem communicating with Xbox live. Should I redownload everything to see if that fixes it.

BIG UPDATE: This problem has been finally fixed!

After several months of trying to get the attention of Xbox Support, Xbox, Major Nelson, etc. on Twitter (and going through troubleshooting with XB Support again a couple of times), two days ago Xbox Supportability Program Manager Andrew Crews saw one of my tweets and replied to it. I gave him all the details about the issue, and just a couple of hours ago he replied that the issue was fixed for everyone!

Of course, I ran to my 360 to check for myself and, lo and behold, here's a screenshot after finally being able to transfer my licenses:

Posted on another message like this, I'm ripping through accounts testing. Common variable I've found with broken accounts are avid x1 users.

My theory (my main is broken as well) is the account redeemed (or possibly bought) a 360 title from 360 store while on x1.

So that free gwg title, or too human or the crackdowns prob broke you.

360 and x1 are separate stores but last year or so they kind of linked them to some degree, imo they screwed up as the drms are different and when you try to license transfer it throws an error on those specific titles

I've been experiencing the same problem as you guys, those free games all work offline though. I recently bought quantum break and just cause 3 for the one, they both came with free 360 game codes (alan wake and just cause 2) and those are the only games who are refusing to launch offline on the 360. I'n new to the Xbox brand, other than those two every digital 360 game i have were either given away for everyone or as part of games with gold, so i'm guessing if i were to buy some digital game on the marketplace i would have the same issue. Hope ms fixes this, it's a fat model 360 and I can't get an ethernet cable in that room

On my side of things, I've had some mail exchanges with the same live chat agent (the last one being from almost two weeks ago), and they've basically only said that they're 'still working on it'. I just sent them another mail reminding them that a month has already passed since the case was opened and we still can't transfer our licenses.

I have a feeling that it's time to start complaining again on social media and try to reach out more people who could help bringing more attention to the issue. Otherwise MS won't get serious about actually fixing the problem.

Has anyone else had there xbox deleted from devices?

MS have deleted my xbox and now when I re enter the serial it comes up not found
