There must be a virus in Xbox Live that I lost access to party and messaging?

So, I can't check my stuff in Xbox App and Xbox Console Companion because the party I created and the messages I created are no more. I think it may be the cause of the virus?

It's probably just Xbox Live server outages or over loaded servers due to more people staying home and playing more games. The priority would to be sure friends, parties and messages work on the console first, then the Xbox Console Companion app last.

No, the virus would not effect communications. and there would be a forewarning of server down-age if it was a planned shutdown.

Try instead of sending directly through the profile, access the Xbox menu and in the "Parties & chats" tab, access the "New chat" option and select the desired profile and confirm with "done", the field to type your message must appear. This is another
way to send messages via Xbox Live directly from the console.

While it would be nice to have a discount we must also remember a lot of companies need at this time to remain in business and i would be horrified if we lost xbox because of a virus trying difficult times in all businesses.

Thank you for the response but I am completely lost now. From what I understand a console ban means that no account can access the xbox live services. My account still has access but no party so I created another account, low and behold the party does
not work on the new account either.
