There is problem with verifying my account with my number

Hi there, in having problems logging into my Xbox the verify number that's sends the code is wrong on the Xbox and I cannot access my account. I can get onto my Microsoft account and ice changed the password but the number on the Xbox is wrong that sends
you the code. Please help

Ok , if there's suspicious activity you only can use the number or the recovery form, the recovery form could be fulfilled as many times as you want, if it tells you that it's not enough information means that part of that information it's not accurate

To use the recovery email you You should have configured it before losing access, even knowing the email and password should give you the i don't have that number option and the possibility to change it waiting for 30 days after the change takes effect

How do I go about recovering my account with the recovery email? I still know the email and password to the account, it just makes me verify the phone number when I sign in.

When I log in it says there has been suspicious activity detected and I need to verify my account, and these are the 2 options it gives me. Since I don't have access to the phone #, I select the second option. It just asks me to fill out a bunch of information about the account, which I did. But then it gives me an email saying I did not provide enough information. I put the name on the account, xbox gamertag, xbox id and more but it doesn't give me the account back.
