    There is problem with images of Stereo adapter in xbox.com


    So as the title says there is a problem with images of Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter in every product page of Accessories(Accessories | Xbox One) category in xbox.com.

    The problem is that in every page of any accessory, image of Elite controller is mistakenly shown in place of the adapter in the "Additional Accessories" section as we scroll down below in the web pages.

    i was browsing for GOW Controller when i saw this , here is gif:

    basically this mismatch is visible in every product page.

    I didnt find a category for xbox website , so i may have posted this in the wrong category.

    Correction to my last: per Xbox.com: "Any 3.5mm stereo headset (that uses the CTIA plug standard) can get stereo game audio by plugging into the adapter"

    Emphasis on CTIA plug standard.

    Stereo adapter

    Hi guys I was wondering if I could use my beats solos with my xbox one stereo adapter and found that they are made for apple so I wondered if I used this
    Earphone Converter Adapter Black Cable convert OMTP to CTIA or CTIA to OMTP 3.5m
    From ebay (I can't post links yet There is problem with images of Stereo adapter in xbox.com :( ) with the stereo adapter my beats would work. They do have an online mic and three rings on the plug. They must be usable in party chat.

    Same issue with iPhone headset. Audio works great, in party chat, others here high pitch whistle. While less than desirable, it may be that the adapter is not designed to work with inline mic's. Look at the last item in the list below. "Any 3.5mm stereo
    headset (that uses the CTIA plug standard) can get stereo game audio by plugging into the adapter"

    I hope that the headset can work.

    For game audio:

    - Legacy gaming headsets get game audio from the back of the console from the S/PDIF port or from your TV/receiver with RCA cables. Get chat audio by connecting the 2.5mm chat cable to the adapter

    - New Xbox One headsets – get chat and stereo directly from the adapter. No need to connect anything to the console

    - Any 3.5mm stereo headset (that uses the CTIA plug standard) can get stereo game audio by plugging into the adapter

    my first question...

    1. Have you updated the controller via USB while this headset is turned on and plugged into the stereo adapter?

    2. I dont have Turtle beach headset but maybe its worth asking TB support if you should use this adapter instead of the xbox one stereo adapter -

    Sound (game only) should come in from the adapter wireless if you have connected the sound output correctly. It sounds like you have as it works, not plugged in.

    Chat, is the only reason you are plugging in this into the stereo adapter so what I'm reading is that, when you plug in the headset, this is where the problem begins.

    I see on the TB website that they are pointing everyone to "their" adapter.

    Which adapter are you using? The Xbox One stereo adapter or the TB stereo adapter?

    If its the Xbox One stereo adapter, I would suggest contacting TB support to understand the difference between the two.
