    Friend bought me a game through gifting and it’s a series s/x game. I have a series s but it won’t download and says incompatible with this device

    I'm not sure what you mean by a One Slim. The Slim was a 360. There was the One, One S, and One X. Then the newest consoles are the Series S and X. There is also a One S version that does not have a disc drive.

    If it doesn't look like this, then it's not a Series S.

    It says "optimized" not only for X/S. Also, if that was the case It would not be playable on either device since both are not X/S devices. They are both Xbox One S not Xbox series S.

    Hello, I am not able to install forza Motorsport on Xbox One using game pass subscription. It said try installing on Xbox series X|S.

    Yes because the game has not been released for One as mentioned above. You would need a Series S/X or PC. A One S is not the same as a Series S.
    I am using an Xbox one S. It will not install
