The youtube app on my xbox series s keep taking me out the app every time i play a video

Are you logged in when playing the video? Does anything you watch cause the program to crash directly? I understand that some users experience crashes when playing content with warnings.

You can try to update the console or re-download or update the program.



Update Your Xbox Series S: Make sure your console is up to date. Press the Xbox button, go to Profile & system, then navigate to Settings > System > Updates. Select “Keep my console up to date.”



Update the YouTube App: Check if there’s an update for the YouTube app. Go to the Xbox Homepage, hover over the YouTube app, press the options button on your controller, and select “Manage games and add-ons.” Then choose “Updates” and follow the on-screen instructions.

Yeah. Youtube has been the worst app on the Xbox since the start and it has gotten much worse.

If it does play, it keeps on pausing every few seconds to buffer (which takes longer to do than the video that has been played.

Also, it completely freezes my console on a periodic basis.

Youtube app is rubbish compared to the 360 one, why the step backwards? Also when I am using the youtube app and watching a video if my son walks into the room it'll sign him into the xbox one but also cut out my video I was watching and sign me out of youtube
and sign him into youtube?

That can't be right can it? Just because someone signs into the xbox one it should not just switch user on the app I am using unless I sign out, games I play don't do it?

I have the exact same issue on my Xbox Series S, when using the Edge Browser I am unable to watch the live broadcasting. I can however watch the previously streamed videos on the App.

Only the live video is not able to start it keeps loading.

Xbox is up-to-date and the app is updated.

F1 is not the problem as it work anywhere else except on the the Xbox Series S
