The xbox will not allow me to install a certain game. the installation will stop close to 0% ...

the xbox will not allow me to install a certain game. I can install other but apart from this one, I have spoke to a member of the xbox support team to get help and answers on fixing this issue. I was then gave a series of steps to do that could lead to
fixing tis problem. the steps did not work and I was given a reference number of the chat. please help.

Do you mind clarifying what exactly happens? Does the game hang at 0%, does the Xbox not recognize a disc in the tray, does an error message pop up, will the installation not even start?

My Xbox One is refusing to read games

Hi, I've owned Watch Dogs since it came out & had it fully installed the xbox one. I recently put the disc in (yesterday) & it refused to work. It initially attempted to re-install itself although it was already fully installed, & kept having 'installation
stopped' messages pop up. It also initially had a 0x80070002 error come up, so I un-installed it, powered it down & attempted to re-install it. It now continues to have 'installation stopped' and 'installation started' messages pop up, & now comes up with
a 0x80970915 error. I have attempted the power down cycle numerous times, other discs work fine & I'm at a loss. Can someone please help?

I have no account billing on my xbox because it doesn't let me purchase things through it anyway

Is the game not showing up to install when you put it in the console, because if that's the problem the same thing happened to me. I took the game out and turned the console off, and that worked for me, I was able to install it normally. There is another
thread on here with this same issue, I guess the new update broke actually being able to install games.

 

It would help if the op posted if it's digital or a disc copy & what things they have tried.

Not sure why you can't buy anything either.
