The xbox turns off when I launch some games

it's not overheated, but there's likely some capacitors failing. When you start a game the power requirements greatly increase and that is likely causing your problem. You would need to send it in for repair

New problem. When I did this, the game launched, and when it launched I started up a game of casual, and when I loaded into the game, my Xbox completely shut off on me. This was also happening when I was in the tutorial stage of the game. The Xbox completely turned off 3 times before this 4th occurrence.

Anyway to fix it? It is currently on my internal storage drive, and I am playing on an Xbox One S. I just want to play the game and my Xbox keeps shutting off.

Also when it is turning off, I turn it back on, and it chimes and I have the chime feature off on my Xbox, and the chime makes a very scratchy Xbox on sound also, just thought I should throw that in there.

i have tried to close the game but keep the xbox on, and that also works, when launching the game after closing it, it keeps the saved game and i can load the last checkpoint.

so the problem only happens when i turn the xbox off, regardless of i close the game or not before turning the xbox off.

It plays when I do that but if I then turn the Xbox off and then turn it back on with out it being online it won’t launch

Another Nuance came up. Now when streaming with dolby vision Off. Wnen I stream Dolby Content with Netflix through XBOX, within the XBOX settings upon launch of Netflix Dolby vision turns off ALLM in my XBOX and plays Dolby regardless of setting in the XBOX. And launching a game there after it does not turn off dolby vision for gaming or allow dolby vision, nor does it turn back on ALLM. I wanted to try to avoid changing the 4K options everytime I want to do something else.
