    I've tried to place an order twice for a custom Xbox Series X controller and I was met both times with this e-mail:

    My credit card is perfectly fine. I contacted the Xbox chat support and they told me that they don't even know the reason for the cancellation themselves. It's kind of irritating that they don't even bother providing an explanation. What is the issue? If you are missing some parts, the very least you could do is inform me of the situation...

    According to the faq section on the
    Design labs website    e it is not possible to change the design after an order has been placed.

    Can I change my design or cancel my order after placing an order?

    Unfortunately not. Your controller starts to be created soon after you submit your order. And since it is customized specifically for you, no design changes are allowed once your order is submitted.

    Can I return my controller online or to a Microsoft retail store if I do not like it?

    Sorry, controllers cannot be returned for this reason.

    Due to the customized nature of Xbox Design Lab, you cannot cancel or modify your order once it is placed. Your Xbox Design Lab order will deliver in 2 to 3 weeks.
    You will be charged immediately, and the order cannot be returned or refunded.

    Sorry, because Xbox Design Lab controllers are customized specifically for you, they cannot be returned.

    I'm sorry to say, but you can't cancel your order or return it after you confirm it.

    It may take 1-2 days to actually get to you once it's been shipped, but it takes longer than that to actually create the controller. This is listed on the screen before you complete your order:

    Xbox Design Lab     then yes. The customized controllers you order via the Design Lab website are all wireless, and can be transformed for latency free wired gameplay by connecting them with a Micro USB cord to the console.
