The XBOX app is unresponsive, then crashes

Please test your Internet connection with the Xbox Live servers:

If on Windows 10, go to Start > Settings > Xbox Network.

If on Windows 11, open the Xbox Console Companion app (install it if it is not already) > Settings (the gear icon) > Network.

See if the connection test shows you open NAT and connected to server. If it gives you any error, please let me know.

In the meantime, you can try to reset your network settings and disable IPv6 too:

- Click on Start > Search for command prompt > Right click on it and select "Run as administrator";

Run the commands below and press Enter after each one:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

netsh winsock reset all
netsh winhttp reset proxy
netsh int 6to4 reset all
netsh int ip reset all
netsh int ipv4 reset all
netsh int ipv6 reset all

netsh int teredo reset all

net stop wuauserv
net start wuauserv
net stop TrustedInstaller

- Then, go to Start > Search and click on control panel.
- Open Network and internet, then Network and sharing center.
- Click Change adapter settings.
- Right-click your connection and go to Properties.
- Uncheck "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)".

Restart your computer and let me know how it goes.

The Xbox One's Power supply already has a surge protector. If you use an extension plug/adapter with a surge protector you may run to issues as the console will be double surge protected.

If you'e not providing sufficient power to the console, it may become unresponsive, fail to load games and apps, and crash during game-play.

Ok, so I've done what you said and I have found a few things.

When putting in the command for reinstalling Microsoft store, it says path not found.

And also when running the troubleshooter for windows store apps it says it finds a problem with unresponsive and crashing apps. It says the problem is unresolved. I tried it again after that and it says there are no problems.

The same xbox apps still do completely nothing when pressing play.

Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything for 5 minutes. That should fix the issue.

I have issues as well. Can't play with controller more than a few minutes. It suddenly hangs and become unresponsive and game crashes without any error messages.
