Please, follow these steps:

Press the Guide button on your controller, select Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select the name of your wireless network when the network list is displayed.

Select Configure Network.

On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.

When prompted, select Yes, Restore to Factory Defaults.

Restart your console.

You will receive a message to configure wireless settings.

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your wireless network.

Test your network connection again (Settings > System Settings > Network Settings > Wired Network > Test Xbox Live Connection).

Flashing green usually means that it's attempting to find a WiFi signal. Are you sure this isn't an issue with the wireless adapter if the Xbox 360 doesn't even give you an option to select WiFi in the selection?

Hi Jose- I have done most of those things, aside from directly connecting to the router. I will test this tonight and see what happens.

I’ve also noticed that if I connect my Xbox to the wireless connection, it will give me a list of options of what WiFi networks to choose, and thus, allows me to connect to my RE650 Booster WiFi. However, that is wireless unfortunately!

Choosing PayPal will only let me pay the full amount. Selecting MSC gives me an option to pay the remainder but doesn't list PayPal as an option.

You can't add the free month to an existing account. Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't give these instructions in the box, but squish is correct. You can only get the free month by creating a new account on the console. Choose yes when it asks if you want
to join live, then choose upgrade later when it gives you the options to purchase gold. It will automatically give you the free month if it is available. You can do this for up to 3 gamertags.
