    Owner of DayOne Xbox One Console, 2 XboxOne controllers, 3 XboxOne AAA Games, 3yr Extended Warranty, but missing PSU to power the stuff ON!

    DayOne had problems with my power supply unit, (PSU) making excessive noise even when the console is off.

    Contacted Support by internet chat, set up a service repair request number (SR#) on Dec 3, 2013

    Sent PSU on Dec 19th, It cost me $11 to send UPS ground, and no Xbox did not pay for shipment!

    Xbox Service Center in Houston received my psu part on Dec 26.

    Jan 3, I check repair status for the first time mind you, what did I see, my SR# was cancelled the day it was made! Cancelled Dec 3,2013 WTF?

    Xbox Service Center now has my PSU, and no valid SR#?

    Who Cancelled it and why?

    Contacted internet support, They made a new SR# told me things would be ok

    It is now Jan 7, 4 full days after second SR# contacted Service Support through internet to find if part has been shipped

    They said, process is open but part has not been shipped.

    I asked why not? It's been 4 days since the new SR# it's been 13 days since you received my PSU.

    Support said they have no way to contact the Service Center to see what is going on,

    My thought, What do you mean you have no way to contact the Service Center, You are Xbox Support!

    There you have it! I am a proud DayOne Owner of a XboxOne that does not work do to the Service Center can take their happy time to send you a replacement part! or they may not send you a part! I don't know, this fiasco has not been resolved.

    I have total regret that I bought the next gen console on Day One! Too many things that can go wrong with the parts, plus the customer support can not interact with Customer Service Center and there is no way for us to contact the Service Center!

    Not a day one'er but understand fully your frustration with support. Got xb1 for kids mostly for Xmas and one week later after a mysterious update to something while the system was turned off I get a kinect unplugged error. I'm thinking " it's not unplugged"
    but it sure says it is. Researched the fixes on the support page to no end. Then tried to deal with microsofts customer support. What a joke.. Either wait at least 2 full weeks to get one from them AFTER and only AFTER I send the broke one in or maybe get
    one in 3 to 5 days if I let them take a 152.00 hold on a credit card. I told them, after i sunk all my money on this broken system I don't have no credit card with 150 on the damn thing. I was lucky and bestbuy took mine and exchanged it because it was still
    in the 30 day return window. I don't understand why Microsoft don't try and do a few different things to help the end user out a bit. How about ship me immediately what it is I need with a prepaid return box to send you my broken equipment. And if your scared
    I won't return it than tell us you'll brick the console which I know you can do if the customer doesn't hold up their end of the deal. Better yet, when you know from past release experience your gonna have issues, which is to be expected, then stock the retail
    outfits with replacement parts to exchange with customers who have issues. There is NO excuse why after someone like Thunder spends his hard earned money to support this multibillion dollar company he should still be waiting since 11/22/2013 on a part that
    can't cost Microsoft 10 dollars to make. Good luck my friend.

    Today I called and of course the staff could not do anything. She said the Advocacy Team was working on it and to give them 5 to 7 days.

    Ok i'm supposed to give them 5 to 7 days for what? You have my PSU so just send me a new PSU that isn't that hard?

    No this Advocacy Team is a highly trained ninja team that must search for my LOST PSU and find it!!

    Wait A minute I have to wait on them to find my PSU that THEY LOST!!

    Tracking number says TAFOLLA sign for it, why do I have to wait? and How long am I going to have to wait?

    (Support) 5 to 7 days, Ok it's been 5 days already (Support wait till friday) The advocacy team will contact you by email and only email

    (Me) So now I have to wait on the Super Advocacy Ninja Team to tell me they can not find my PSU that I sent them, then what?

    (support) oh they will find it, they just need the 5 to 7 days.

    (Me) Ok, I do that but in the mean time, I like to ORDER a new PSU, and I have no problem paying for it because I like to get my XboxOne running as soon as

    (Support) - we don't sell Power supplies individually,

    So basically your telling me I'm out of luck?! < trying to use nice words but thinking really bad words!

    (Support) no you just have to wait a couple more days

    So I'll wait!

    I really should have sent this back to Amazon and never used Xbox support, but I'm forever stuck with my XboxOne do to I registered it and got an extended warranty.

    Damn, I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this.

    If I were you I would still contact Amazon, they really are great when it comes to customer service.

    I won't go into to details; but I too had a bad experience with my Xbox One. (technically two bad experiences, haha, u can check my other posts if you wanna hear my sob story, lol)

    I was so frustrated, that I contacted Amazon after a week of owning the XBone, and they actually gave me a full refund and a shipping slip to send it back to them.

    Today; I ordered a PS4 with the refund money.

    I have been a major supporter of the Xbox for over a decade. I bought my first Xbox in 2002. I bought my Xbox 360 in 2005. Still can't believe I'm no longer going to be an Xbox guy. That I jumped ship.

    Not saying you should jump to the PS4.... but you definitely should still contact Amazon about either a replacement or refund. Especially if MS is going to be no help. You're going through stinks.

  9. I can't believe what your saying Thunder. These idiots wouldn't even sell you a PSU? Not that you should have to pay for one anyways. I understand when you love something and really want it why people get stuff (especially high end electronics) thru online
    outlets.I my self have always tried to avoid doing that because of stuff just like this. It would have made this so much easier to have gotten it from a big box store locally or gamestop or something. Then you could have bypassed these morons and just simply
    returned it for another. That is probably the reason they don't have the spare parts to sell as of yet because there having to send retailers whole units to replace the units they have had to basically give out for returns when people like me bring my broken
    unit in for exchange.Really you would think a company as big as MS would have made darn sure to have back up spare parts ready to go out a.s.a.p if something like your issue happens.Good luck my friend, you could always do like kev did and get the ps4, I did!!

  10. At least with my ps4 I have something rock solid reliable I can play while I'm waiting on MS to get their stuff in line. I know it sucks to have to spend the money if you wernt considering getting the ps platform but it won't let you down. I have two day
    one consoles that get played multihours a day and not one issue.
