I have the series s, I can play for a couple minutes then the game freezes and my screen goes white, sometimes the whole Xbox shuts off, I’ve tried doing a reset, I uninstalled the game 3 times and it’s still doing the same thing, my Xbox is up to date on software, I’ve even done a full factory reset and it’s still doing the same thing…..

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check for any pending system updates

Make sure your console is connected to the internet, and then press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Settings.

Select System > Updates & downloads.

Under "Updates", you'll see: Console update available. Select this button to begin your update,



Solution 3: Do a factory reset



1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

If the same issue persists after doing the steps, please do report the problem using the report a problem app which can be downloaded from the store so that it can be investigated properly.

My game freezes sometimes but my console works fine. And I haven't read anywhere about game/s freezing causes any damage to your Xbox. It just frustrating when it happens.

Yep, I'm another victim of this bug. It freezes at the "press start" screen. XBOX S 250 GB. I did all I had to do, the only thing left is to format which I just did. When the re-downloading of the game will be finished, it will be my only hope left! :/

I deleted the apps on facebook. My xbox still freeze.

The console sometimes freezes at games like skyrim. But thats normal.

If I press y, the pause screen freeze and the minecraft music stopps.
