    I've tried everything online. People with the Steam version of the game seems to get problem fixed. I have done everything even got support from the devs as well. They weren't able to solve it yet. I believe this is a Microsoft store related issue. I might
    be wrong, but why are the Steam versions out there so easy to fix. Please if someone knows something or someone that can fix this.... help me. I really want to play this game.

    Go on settings mate and general alternate mac adress clear restart it will clear all junk from your xbox sometimes cookies back up you're console

    I've tried to install apps from Microsoft store like whatsapp and they have installed and launched perfectly fine but when trying to launch a game that was installed on the xbox app like dragon ball fighters z it pops up with the error code 0x803f8001.

    Is outer wilds (xbox game) a play anywhere game?

    Launch the Microsoft Store app, then search for the outer Wilds. When the page loads, select install (if you own it). It should then start to install. The download is currently spouting an error code, but that could be an issue on Microsoft's end, or it could be a mistake that the game is on the PC store, hence why the error code shows up.
