    why does my Xbox say a game like red dead online say it's 100 gigabytes but it takes 200 gigabytes and this is a one terabyte Xbox one s and I bought it second hand it was hard reset how do I fix it from making the games double the size

    Xbox difference

    Hi there,

    the difference between a regular Xbox One s and a Xbox One S 1TB will be that the 1TB version will have a 1tb storage device and not a 500GB storage device.

    So the 1TB which is about 1000GB will have approx. twice the storage amount compared to the 500GB version.

    Keep in mind that if needed the storage space can be expanded by connecting an external storage device (USB 3.0 and at least 256GB) to expand the available storage on any Xbox One console.

    And to repeat what I said is, The 1TB XBox one Internal drive has reserved space
    assigned for the system, ie storage for the OS and storage for clips and screenshots, leaving 780GB of internal disc space for whatever games and apps you download or install.

    Huge downloads?!?!

    Storage for modern gaming is becoming an issue. Even with a 1tb hdd in my Xbox One S I only have about 12 games installed. I've got 3tb in my PC to hold more games. It is becoming common for 100gb+ game downloads.

    I have and xbox one s and i was thinking bout upgrading to the xbox one x i think u really need the upgrade if your xbox doesnt have alot of storage space as i will be aiming for the 1tb or higher with an xbox one x
