they just stop loading saying its taking longer than expected I've tried updating my system and the xbox app. Ive tried doing the PowerShell command get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers, from the Microsoft website https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-working/8b31b9d0-e4ad-4237-af00-cd133c9d7b4d. the social, achievements, lfg, and chat funcutions just dont work

Please update windows. Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.

And then repair or reset the Xbox App. Do this on Windows, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Locate the Xbox app, click the three-dot menu, and select Advanced options. Scroll down to the Reset section and click Repair. If this doesn't work, choose Reset.

Next is to clear Xbox App cache by opening the Xbox app, go to Settings > General, and clear the cache. This can resolve issues caused by corrupted data.

Then restart your router or modem to ensure a stable internet connection.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly switch to a wired connection or a different network to rule out connectivity issues.

Service alert is in affect - social and shopping is limited. At least they know about it and are working on a solution...

Did check Xbox Live service and to see if that Social aspect was up and working? That usually causes this.

There is a service alert at the moment.There is a widespread issue with the social side of xbox live which is being worked on.

You just need to be patient while it's being fixed.

Edit: I'm sure there are people out there that don't know, that you can copy and paste messages on the xbox console. As I mentioned the problem mostly being with the sending messages. To do this: You have to have your message in the input field, basically where you are typing. Press the B button so the keyboard goes away. Then the menu button aka the 3 lines on top of each other, select all. Menu button again says copy and then menu button again for any new message it will say paste. This has been a thing for years. One of the things I tried when i first got my xbox one in 2017. It's Microsoft so i like how they put the same thing, from there Windows OS into there Xbox OS.
