About 2 months ago i bought an anual gold subscription, for $60, then about a month in i got a promotion for gamepass ultimate claiming j can try it for just $1 and revert back anytime. This was a lie. It cancled my gold subscription and did not give me
my money back and i only got 2 months of use from it. I contacted xbox support multiple times and eventually got someone to tell me i could try to refund it. I did. It did not give me a refund however. I lost $60 for just 2 months of gold. Xbox is scamming
people and this is very unproffesional. As a fan it disapoints me and I am happily switching to playstation and so are many of my friends when the new consoles drop. Youre a terrible conpany, and you do not care at all for your communinty. Anyone who reads
this i advise not using xbox or buying anything related

Same here monthly charge for ultimate game pass * which I don't have.. how is it a hack or clone if there paying you'll @ xbox.. bs scam via Microsoft xbox

The promotion should only have taken $1 & will only take that $1 for the duration (which would be the length of your subscription plus one month), the duration of which your account will be upgraded to Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Xbox Live Gold.
It shouldn't take any further money from your account until that time frame is up, cancelling won't revert you back to Xbox Live Gold TODAY it will do so when the promotional term expires. You could in theory go to account.microsoft.com/services where you
can see your current subscription & turn off recurring billing.

Hi Keaton as most people already given u the answer to your ? if u still not happy I suggest u call 800 support or email them or write a letter to corporate explaining your frustration and hopefully they be able to come to a resolution for u.If u do decide
to go down this route I highly suggest u speak to a supervisor.

Why offer a promotion saying i can cancel and go back to my original gold then? I wouldnt have bought if it said that.

When you buy Ultimate while you already have Gold, your Gold is automatically upgraded to Ultimate as well. So you would have had Ultimate for the amount of time you had remaining on your Gold subscription plus the amount of time you purchased Ultimate for
(ie. if you had 12 months of Gold and buy 1 month of Ultimate, you have 13 months of Ultimate). The system tells you this when you make the purchase.
