"The sampling rate for your microphone is not supported" App XBOX on Windows 10

The Steelseries Siberia 350 is an USB headset, which means, it has it's own built in "soundcard" so to speak.

If that soundcard samples the microphone in a sampling rate that is not supported, you will need to check if the headset can be configured for a different sampling rate.

For that however, you will need to
contact the Steelseries support.

Try this:

Go to your Microphone Properties in the Sound Control Panel

General Tab

Controller Information Section

Properties

Change Settings

Driver Tab

Uninstall Device and make sure that "delete drivers" is checked

Reboot, and windows will install generic microphone drivers. Then it should all work.

It could be that the Headset you are using is not compatible. You can try the following steps as a guide.

If you are having trouble opening your DAW, the fix is easy, all you have to do is go into the Sound Devices menu in Control Panel, view the properties of your sound device, go to the advanced tab, and change the sample rate to a rate of a compatible
headset. Unfortunately don't have that available for you at the moment I am not at home.

I have done just about every one of the troubleshooting options. The microphone works in everything, it is just the Xbox App that is giving me a problem.
