    The problem of boycotting several countries and not connecting to the network on Xbox One


    Hi there, I live in IRAN and Iranian users have problems to connecting to the Xbox one network. We Can't Connect to Xbox Network Because of the sanctions imposed on us by Microsoft. Sometimes We Can Connect Just By Changing Xbox DNS Servers.

    And now I have two questions from you:

    1 - Why Microsoft boycott our country?

    2 - how we can connect to the Xbox network faster?

    If xbox live is not available in a certain country then the majority of the time it's down to that countries government,not Microsoft.

    Pretty sure Microsoft would like live available in as many countries as possible as that would mean more revenue for them.

    nothing can be done until they shake hands and be friends which by the looks of things wont happen for a VERY long time.

    The error code 0x80A40019 hints at a network issue connecting to Xbox Live. See https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/errors/error-code-0x80a40019

    However, there have been reports that people from the Ukraine and Iran (and maybe some other countries) are unable to connect to Xbox Live.

    So if you're in one of these countries, know that Microsoft is aware of that problem and is trying to fix it.
