Freezing problem continues

I have reported this multiple times, same freezing problem as many users. Yesterday seemed better but still froze up just not as often. Today worse again. Please fix.

if you are talking about the sign in issue, they are fixing it

 

And there is a workaround. You can delete your profile, then power-cycle your console and then restore your profile and it appears to work for a lot of users.

Incidentally, all networks have issues, but you're free to play whatever consoles you wish. We're all gamers, after all.

It hasn't been working since about 2.30pm yesterday. Hours ago. I see no signs that anyone is fixing it. I am extremely unimpressed. No updates on what is happening or why that fix doesn't work for everyone.

 

Do you follow Xbox Support on Twitter? I find that’s usually where you get updates from in a timely fashion.

What is your problem? If it's what has been mentioned above, I have only just become aware of this problem.

 

Are Microsoft doing anything about this ?! Really ? The workaround not working for me. Am fed up. I have had problems with signing in before too and can rarely play offline. If I could afford another console, I would get one. Not an option though.

 

Unfortunately there's an issue with sign services. You may want to setup an alert at Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage to receive notification
via SMS when the services are back.

 

Yes. Last update a few hours ago. Microsoft need to sort this out ASAP. Their solution doesn't work either.

Not had the console long and this isn't the first sign in issue.

 

Yes, they are fixing it. It's not as simple as flipping a switch. As someone who has some experience with code, it can be a real pain finding your problems.

 

Everything has its problems! Been with Xbox Live since 09 and I've seen a fair bit of sign in issues. It's not as simple as you may think of running such a huge online service. One minor problem can affect all of it, then you need to find this minor problem
and fix it. It's literally like finding a needle in a haystack.

I'm lucky enough to not have encountered this issue, but hope they fix it soon for those that have been unlucky.

Be patient and you'll be back to gaming in no time.
