"The person who bought this needs to sign in" how do i fix?

ok so i bought a couple digital download games on my account, i also have 2 other accounts on that xbox and they can't play without me being signed in. i have another xbox for my self and my brother uses that one that is having problems and he wants to play
while I'm playing but can open the games up unless I'm signed in. how do i fix it to where i don't have to be signed in... is there any way possible?

This was likely due to a service alert that was up effecting the ability to play downloaded games and apps. You should be able to use them now that the alert has lifted. If you continue to have this problem please post back.

Hello, today when I got home I went to play on my Xbox One but for some reason every single game I have installed from the store kept closing immediately and giving me the message "The person who bought this needs to sign in." I am signed in on the account
that bought the game on the same Xbox that I bought and installed the game on. I am not using a different account or Xbox. I have tried signing out and signing in, restarting the console, making the Xbox my home Xbox, reinstalling the games, and everything.
Please help this is driving me crazy I can't play any of my games that I have bought and installed from the store.

The only way for purchased games to be played on a console without the purchasing account being logged in is the games have to be played on the purchasing account's home console.

While logged into the console with the purchasing account check to make sure it's the account's home console:

On the dashboard > Scroll left from Home to open the guide.
Select Settings > All Settings >
Personalization > My home Xbox.

Just a note about the home console thing - you can only change your home console a few times a year (3 if I remember correctly).

 

Is it not just easier for you to use 1 console (and just to using that console) and your brother uses the other ?
