The PC Xbox app won't let me download games to drive D

Nope, that didn't solve the issue. Still only giving me the option for my C: drive. I should note that the app does show my D: drive in the settings but won't save it as a default installation spot but whenever I go to download a game it won't let me change it

I got mine to work by moving a few things off the C drive to enable windows to see theres 67gb free then it allowed it to download and install on the D drive for me. I set it in both MS Store + Xbox app to download to D drive but it refused to saying occasionally
not enough space free. I hate how much of a ballache MS make it for pc players to enjoy games on their platform

So after uninstallig Gaming service and Xbox, reinstalling it nothing changed. I went ahead and tried installing the game on my C drive and it would download. so I started searching for "Xbox won't install on D Drive" and found

after changing this setting Xbox no longer gives me the option to install on C drive witch is fine but will now install on my D Drive.

Is your D: drive formatted as NTFS as I know this has been a cause of this issue before?

Hello ShinoDark. Have you checked your C drive to make sure it is not full because if it is then The game can not download. You should try to get your games to the D drive Because the C drive is the main source for your PC. Everything goes to the C drive
unless you change it when you download something. Before you completely download the game, change it to the D drive but If you do not want it on the d drive then you would have to delete Files in the C. Let me Know If this helps or If you need Help with anything
