    If you're planning to reset your PC, it will cost you deletion of all your apps and games downloaded from MS Store PC, which is very bothersome, today for some system related unfixable issues I had to reset my PC and all my 800GB of downloaded games/apps I had to lost, I'm from India and Internet speeds here are the worst, most of the affordable ISPs only let you access the maximum speeds of >1MB/s which is not considered to be the worst here but still about re-downloading those big files yeah it's really a pain and cost both money and time, so kindly please Microsoft try to understand the situation of most 3rd world/developing countries issue and please implement a feature of been able to back-up .appx files, please stop trying to make a locked ecosystem like macOS.

    Can anyone please forward my feedback/feature request to Microsoft Windows Devs, it will be much appreciated, thanks.

    What is with the 10GB patch updates?

    The real reason the updates are 100x the size they were last gen is probably that they're not compressing anything. You're not downloading patches for the files to update them. You're downloading new files all over again. Like I said, it's *** and inefficient.

    The only authorized storage devices are USB and an Xbox hd or Xbox live cloud

    Unfortunately once the game is installed, it's not possible to perform a backup of the game install files. But, Once you own the game you can download and install it again as many times as you like. And you download it again on a new PC if you upgrade or
    purchase a new PC.

    I'm pretty sure only the Steam version can be backed up.
