The only controller that I have without drift is a chinese bootleg.

Stick drift us an eventually it depends how you use your sticks

If you are playing fighting games where you are harsh on your sticks constantly it will cause it

EVEN the Chinese ones will get it

HOWEVER if you get a 3rd gen controllers they are resistant because it isn't just mechanical

3rd gen controllers.have programmable keys and built.in DAC AND led display and most importantly hall effects sticks

Which are both electronic and analogue sensors which are supposed to.be drift resistant with zero return for.syncing (I Donno.but people bragging about that stuff) and self repairable controller

Only pdp BFG PRO and stealth ultra are out now and with MS seil 3rd gen controllers.will be out in April with similar features

Hall effects sticks are pretty new so they haven't been time tested but many companies are testing.them.praising it

That is strange. I've only ever had stick drift on my old 360 controllers. I don't know if the standard Xbox one controllers have it, but the Xbox Elite controller sticks can be adjusted to have dead zones to avoid drift. Check in the Xbox Accessories
app if you can adjust it for normal controllers.

Have my elite controller set up and still drifts. Can't do standard controller. Did notice they drift worse on any COD.

Hello Cr1pT1k, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the new controller.

I understand what you're saying about the controller but I believe I know what the issue is. I too have a controller with stick drift that I use on a main basis. Sometimes when I use a different controller without the drift it feels different to me because I've become used to adjusting for the drift.

This may be the same with you but should disappear within a few days of you getting used to it

I only have one controller. what would joystick drifting do?
