The newest preview dashboard update had killed my system

Hello,

When I turned on my console this evening I was greeted with the green Xbox One screen that usually displays after an update. Sadly after that my screen went black. Occasionally I will see parts of the home screen but it seems to fail to load completely and
then reverts to black. I worked with Xbox support and they said they could not help me and I needed to contact the preview dashboard team via the forums. PLEASE HELP!

xbox one achievements not popping

Are you in the preview program. I've had similar issues with my account. Started with the newest dashboard update.

xBox Preview.

I had the xbox preview on my original console but due to issues I had to sell it and went months without one. I now have a new console and downloaded xbox preview onto the new system but when I click on it, it said its register to another system.

Is there anyway to have ny original preview dashboard on the new system or will I need a new one?

This still is a known problem with the preview program. To reconnect please unplugg your Kinect and reconnect to your router. Then please update your console manually to the newest dashboard version as the problem is fixed with the newest update meanwhile.
To trigger the newest update please go to settings / system and hit update console in the left pane. After updating you should be able to replug the Kinect and connect to your router again.

But as this is a preview program issue it's strongly recommended you post your issue there, if this is not fixing it at all. Please check out this thread: forums.xbox.com/.../1858421.aspx Thxs for your understanding.

I had this problem with the preview dashboard and had to do a full system reboot. Worst part is they knew this was a problem and released the new (not as functional) experience anyway. Everyone that complained about this on the preview forums was bashed
for complaining about the preview dashboard and were told it'd get fixed with the main update. Sad they release unfinished/untested products time and time again.
