The New Xbox Wireless Headset! Huge drawback?

Well I just purchased the new Xbox Wireless Headset and immediately realized a huge flaw, unless I received a faulty package that didn't include a PC dongle. The main way, and only way, to connect this to my PC is blue tooth. Completely unacceptable for BT to be the main and only connection to the PC. This was advertised to work with the Xbox and PC so I expect a proper wireless connection, not BT only, which has always been a half baked wireless solution anyway. I expected to be able to connect this via PC dongle and also connect to BT at the same time, just like you can do on the Xbox. That shouldn't be too much to ask for.

Is there a dongle sold separately that works with this new headset? It should have been included with the headset but I'd be willing to keep it if there is at least the option.

No it just requires Bluetooth or Windows sonic for plug ANd play as Audio isn't that high bandwidth items

Bluetooth just isn't good enough for a headset like this as a main connection to the PC. That also doesn't allow you to use two connection sources (BT, Wireless) at the same time. However, I'm happy to see that a USB-C cable can be used with the PC and even more importantly, the Xbox Wireless Adapter. I'm fine with acquiring it separately, as long as it is an option available.

Windows 10 use requires Bluetooth 4.2+, Xbox Wireless adapter or compatible USB-C cable. Each sold separately, explaining why both the adapter and cable weren't included with the headset.

I use the Tritton Kunai Wireless. You use the amp for netflix/tv wireless. The only drawback is you have to unplug the power from the amp when you connect your headset to the controller for chat otherwise no chat. It's a small work around, but nothing
else I've heard of so far.

Is the headset switched to Xbox mode? The new Microsoft bluetooth/xbox wireless headsets work in either bluetooth or xbox mode, but not both at the same time. You need to make sure it's in Xbox mode to pair it with your Xbox console.
