    The New Xbox insider update completely stopped my Xbox from functioning. Offline updates...


    The new Xbox insider update made my Xbox completely unusable. Every time i try to download a game, leave it on for more than 30 minutes, or try to join a party with my friends the system crashes on me. I’ve done multiple soft and hard resets as well as offline updates. My warranty expires years ago, and I’m not willing to purchase a new or used device to solve an issue that I didn’t even create. Are y’all working on a fix for this? Or should I just toss my device?

    update support guide     and it will hopefully help you to complete the update on your console. Please not using the offline update in the link below may not work if you are in the Xbox Insider program, If you are in the Xbox Insider program you may with to

    this support page    . Please note if your console is in the insider program then the offline update may not work.

    Thank you both for the suggestions. gds1972, I did the offline update using a USB as suggested in the "update support guide", all worked and back up and running now. Really appreciate your help! Cheers.
