The 'New' Edge is embarrassingly bad

Straight to the point here, the new Edge is abysmal. It is laughable how broken it is. How did this get EVERYONE at Xbox to give it two thumbs up for release publicly? It is slow, can barely handle more than one tab, constantly freezes and does other things
that requires closing it out. Scripts stopping, pages not responding, what is the point? This is on Xbox One X by the way. World's most powerful console that also contains one of the most unstable web browsers out there right now. I like being able to download
things and copy and paste now, but it isn't worth the stability going to near zero. I use Edge so much on Xbox One and the experience has been made so much worse.

You know the obvious answer; FIX IT.

Bad Company 3

Long while back the makers of Bad Company and Mirrors Edge commented that there is a future for both games and that there will be a Sequel. Well now there is a talk about a new Mirrors Edge, I think its 2; and I am thinking that we may see Bad Company 3
previews by the beginnings of next year.

I have also seen youtube videos that say how bad EDGE is, and it is so bad that there are programs out there designed to REMOVE Edge from Windows PC's. If Edge was designed for Windows PC's or XBOX 1, it was poorly designed, and leaves you wondering what
Microsoft was thinking - They simply could have allowed IE 11 to be installed and forget EDGE - ESPECIALLY when Edge does NOT have any support for add ons or seems to be incomplete - I would NOT use EDGE for anything - Give us a Real Browser!!! NOT a Broken
down, non-working, crippled version of a new browser which does not work!!!

I have to agree, this is a terrible upgrade. It constantly crashes and freezes, put simply, it doesn't work. I am very disappointed.

I certainly agree! I just hope we wont be ignored and that Microsoft actually sends a fix real soon. Chances are though we will be ignored. It's astonishing that Microsoft has some of the most talented coders in Silicone Valley and this is what they
release? It's as laughable a release as Windows Vista was. Please fix!!!!

 

Upon trying to use this more, it is actually worse than I thought. Not only does Edge now barely work on its own, but it actually causes the entire system to run slow while it is open in the background.
While it is open, my games and apps usually fails to load, prompting an error, but it works as soon as I close Edge. The guide also tends to not work while Edge is open. This is an absolute failure and Microsoft, you really should give us some kind of statement
because this is pathetic.

I keep getting this code 0x80040900

Prior to you explorer edge app I never received this code. Now every time I open edge and go anywhere or if there is a pop up- edge freezes shuts down and wont do anything then this code pops up. I've tried doing a soft reset and a hard reset. Hell I want
to even erase the app and try to reinstall or something but am unable to please fix and respond this is ridiculous. Should have left it as explorer app and not the edge app.

How many people have to have issues before it is fixed. Maybe they need to offer other browsers as well

 

came here to complain abot Edge and yor post is onpoint. I cant even se the app becase it doesnt work! This lack of qality control from microsoft is absoltley nacceptable. The qality of this service is at an all time low and with the money people have invested
in it keeps s held hostage with nothing to do.

Edge was already terrible, bt the pdate broke it completley. I dont nderstand why things are so apalling in general and my experince as a whole is being rooined. Xbox sed to be so mch better and now its st garbage.

This is preventing me from bying an xbox x and any game not heavily disconted.

It seems like microsoft has decided to go all in on focsing efforts to attract new cstomers instead of keeping the ones they already have. Nfortnaly, these new cstomers are yong, nedcated and totally naware how far this have fallen.
