Mouse and keyboard, just do not belong to the console!

I do not understand Microsoft, if it goes this way, the Xbox console will soon end up!

That's why Playstation has a great advantage with its exclusive games, it's still in the same tracks and therefore has the advantage, and so from Xbox, enough players are switching to the Playstation. If Xbox focuses on things that are not important and will
not focus on their exclusive games and new and even better exclusive games. It will not last long.

That's why I want to invite all players who agree with me!

Mouse and keyboard are only on PC! Whoever can not play the gamepad on the console so that they learn it or do not play such games. The consoles have never been such as to resemble a computer, each console has always had its gamepad.

I hope most of the players on the Xbox console will agree when I write: We do not want a keyboard and mouse, we want more exclusive games on the Xbox, and we want to create great competition against the Playstation console with exclusive games and not by turning
Xbox into a computer connected to the TV.

Read this and almost pissed myself from laughing lol, someone hasnt got a clue about the differences of PC and console gaming and the advantages of mouse and keyboard

Dumbest thing have ever read in my life. Want to talk about training wheels? How bout the sticky aim in almost every console shooter.

 

It's just an optional feature. Some people are more comfortable with a keyboard and mouse and if they want to use one, they should be able to.

FYI, you can also use a keyboard and mouse on Playstation.

 

Im fine with it as long as the developers (whom MS is leaving it up to) implement a way to pick if you want to play with others using controllers only or kb/m.

 

Since play anywhere started i changed my opinion about that, and I think with this feature, with mouse and keyboard could launch a bit more competition when you are playing against people in windows 10.

Did you tried to play against people on Sea Of Thieves that are playing with a keyboard and a mouse on windows10, probabily you change your idea after trying this. With keyboard and mouse, more in FPS games, they can be a lot faster than you with the controller.

So yes, to me, is a good feature, and should be already available since play anywhere was released.

 

I honestly don't think you should make a mountain out of a mole hill. I personally think that it's a great idea, as it opens the opportunity to have other genres of games on Xbox, that rely on a mouse and keyboard, or offer a new experience. Devs are gonna
have some fun, alright!

Crossplay, PlayAnywhere, Mouse and Keyboard...all this things killing console idea and balance in MP.

Xbox = low cost PC

low cost PC = still better details and FPS

I think my next console will be PS5, with PC

Sorry. I disagree.

Mouse and keyboard support is my husband’s most highly requested feature. He just can’t get the hang of a controller after 25+ years of PC gaming.

I would love mouse and keyboard support, as I’d like to have him playing couch co-op games with us. I understand how he feels, as I hate his VR headset and won’t use it.

 

The cost/time associated with adding this option doesn't even matter for first party games, its handled by a completely different team.

Additionally, keep in mind a keyboard and mouse might be easier to use for someone with a physical or mental disability. As others have pointed out its optional, in games like Gears of War 4 you can even choose if you even want to play with PC players.

In the end I don't see this as a problem at all.

 

Its a good option and allows more genres of games im all for that. However in competitive MP games MK players will always have an unfair advantage over a controller. They need to be segregated to their own lobbies

 

Looks like Warframe will be the first game to support it wheh the feature goes live.

 

I think that the more options the better. PC can use a gamepad, or Keyboard/Mouse. Give gamers options, let the developers decide if they want to segment controller vs keyboard users in their matchmaking code.

 

We can't judge until they implement the feature, I'm sure they'll do something with matchmaking.

 

I hope it will solve it somehow, but I think it will be solved only at first party titles. Third party titles will have a problem. That's my thought.
