    The most specific party chat problem EVER.. Please help.


    I have an xbox party chat problem and after taking every troubleshooting step possible I'm at my end. Here's the current scenario.

    • My account does not work in chat, but ONLY on my xbox.
    • Other people cannot hear me, but I can hear them.
    • If I log onto a different xbox, my voice is heard.
    • If someone ELSE logs onto MY xbox, they do NOT have this issue.
    • any controller/ headset combo on MY account on MY xbox does not work.
    • any controller/headset combo on SOMEONE ELSE'S account on MY xbox DOES work.
    • again, my account on another xbox WILL work.
    Here's what I have tried.

    • checked all settings to ensure full chat permission.
    • logged in and out.
    • restarted xbox
    • restarted network
    • FACTORY RESTORED xbox.
    • updated as many settings in wifi router, including a dedicated 5ghz network id only for my xbox.
    • None of these have solved the problem.
    I really don't know what to do, and can't even pinpoint the problem, because other players work on my xbox and i work on other's xbox.

    any advice would be appreciated.

    You too huh? EVERY SINGLE PERSON on my friends list tell me they also have party chat problems. I also have these party chat problems. Most people I talk to in online games tell me they also have these party chat problems.

    The console is over a year old now and WE STILL HAVE THESE PARTY CHAT PROBLEMS!

    Is this only happening in Xbox party chat or game chat as well when you're playing an online multiplayer game over Xbox Live?
    Hi. It's not depend on the headphone. I hear that on tv as well , I hear that in offline game too. Party chat is oke, the games sounds the problem.
