The Microsoft account I migrated my Minecraft account to does not have it

A while ago I migrated my old mojang minecraft account into a microsoft one, and despite it being an absolute pain I could play the game just fine after. However I've recently discovered that my microsoft account does not think I own the game. I'd like it back, to be quite honest, ideally without having to pay for it again through no fault of my own.

Yes, I know I'm looking at the right account. Yes, I can log into that account just fine. No, I do not have another Microsoft account, or XBox gamer tag, or minecraft account. Yes I have read all FAQs available and none of them acknowledge this kind of issue.

I realize this is probably not a place where someone who can actually help me will see this post, but please at least point me to where I can make a complaint that will actually have a fraction of a chance of getting me somewhere? That would honestly be enough.

I'm thinking maybe if this gets posted publicly someone else with the same problem might find it in a google search - in which case I recommend you do not try minecraft support. They just condescended to me and clearly aren't actually able to restore my game.

The problem i'm having is that before migrating accounts I installed minecraft and made a new minecraft account under my microsoft name. I would like to delete that, and then migrate accounts

So back on late 2021 my account was hacked then migrated to a Microsoft account. I have already contacted Minecraft support but they said that they could not help me since my account was already migrated, and that I should contact Microsoft support instead. I still have the transaction ID and the name of the account.

Wait. So you are saying before you could migrate your minecraft account to your own Microsoft account someone else got into your minecraft account and migrated it to their own Microsoft account first?

Is that what happened?

Also if your Microsoft account already owns Minecraft does that means you don't have to migrate or you just can't migrate and let your account be locked

Unfortunately, the only option we have is to have you contact Microsoft Xbox Support for further assistance as they may have the tools to access your account owned licenses.

Typically, in this kind of case, Minecraft accounts must have migrated to the original Microsoft account email address where it was first created.

Please confirm if your Microsoft account that has Minecraft game transaction under its order history by signing accounts on account.microsoft.com > then go to Payment and Billing > Order History.

From there, check if you have any Minecraft transactions. If you have found the transactions, use the same Microsoft account to log in to Minecraft Launcher.

However, if you are still unable to locate the Minecraft transaction, usually you will need to contact Mojang but since you have already contacted them, you may contact Microsoft Xbox Support for advanced troubleshooting.
