It appears that this function has been implemented recently and may have bugs. On Reddit's official support page they haven't even updated and say xCloud doesn't support rumble yet.

Try running cloud games using the Xbox app on your Windows, you might have more success there.

First check that you have latest version of the Xbox app on Windows 10. And do you use standard Xbox app or Xbox beta? If you are using beta then yes sometimes there may be some problems.

Have you checked you have the latest update of Windows 10 and the latest app? Is it is in beta full support is not available yet and it could just be something that will be fixed in the next update

i did hear they were to be trialling xcloud via pc soon, not sure when but obviously as the surface is a pc technically that should work on there.

Surface Pro X is ARM64 architecture, so a “standard” PC app for xCloud would have to be either 32-bit and run in emulation, or ported to ARM to work.

but they sell it as the flagship tablet/pc, im insider on alpha skip ring on xbox and beta tester untill the moment for xcloud (stream app and now Game Pass app) if they have add developed on arm for android and i think port this app to windows ARM have
to be easier than build it from 0.

Game Pass for PC requires the latest update to Windows 10 and the
Xbox Beta app installed. Do you have both of those?
