    The IOS Xbox app crashes when I try to sign in.


    When I try to start the Xbox app on my iPhone SE, the app crashes before I can get into the actual Xbox part of the app. I tap on the app and it asks me to sign in, I choose my email, it begins to load, then it crashes. If this is a temporary issue, it
    is ok, but if I can no longer use my app ever, then that may become a large issue. When my family is using the Xbox too much, I tell them, "one more round," or "five more minutes." If they do not comply with this, then I shut the Xbox off from my phone using
    the app. I can still access the app on my computer and the Xbox, but it is extremely inconvenient when I have to get up from my work and shut it off or start up my computer to do so. The app worked two days ago, when I used it, but now it will not. What can
    I do?

    Hey Cambot,

    Thank you for reaching out. We understand you have been recently experiencing some crashing issues with the Xbox App on your iPhone. If you haven't already done so, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Simply press and hold the icon for the Xbox App
    until an "X" appears on the corner; upon pressing it, you will be prompted to uninstall. Let us know if the issues persists even after reinstalling the app. Cheers :D

    This is likely just a temporary issue as this has happened to me before on my 5 year old iPhone 6. It will resolve itself eventually but I recommend trying a few more things. Have you checked under your General settings if the OS needs an update? Or have
    you check the App store in case the Xbox App needs an update?

    Try to close all other apps you have open on the iPhone, including the Xbox app, and try again once you got everything closed. If that doesn't help, uninstall the app, re-boot your phone, re-install the app and try again.

    I went into general settings on my iPhone and into iPhone storage then found the Xbox app and offloaded it and then reinstalled it there. I then logged in and it worked. Hopefully, this works for others who are having the same issue.

    Unsure how to clear the cache on an iphone will it clear when the app is uninstalled? I will try that if that is unsuccesfull how do i contact a specialist about this issue?

    This seems like a somewhat frequent issue, as this is affecting me as well and no amount of troubleshooting has yielded a solution. I’m waiting for an update to fix the problem at this point.
