The Install button doesn’t work on windows 11 Microsoft store! I’m trying to install...

This is easily fixed by going to the store on your console and searching for the game there and then manually pressing the install button.

If that for some reason doesn’t work try downloading the Xbox app and try installing it from there.

It didn’t help, the game doesn’t load and the message “Preparing 0%” constantly hangs, I also tried to install through the Microsoft Store, but the Install button does not work (I click on it but nothing happens)

Open the Microsoft Store app on your Windows 11 computer.

Click on the search bar at the top of the window and type in "Killer Instinct Definitive Edition."

Once you've found the game in the search results, click on it to open the game page.

Scroll down to the "Add-ons" section and look for the DLC you're trying to download.

If the DLC is available for download, you should see an "Install" button next to it. Click on the "Install" button to start the download and installation process.

Once the DLC is downloaded and installed, launch the game to access the new content.

In this case when the in-place upgrade doesn’t work the best option is perform a custom installation for your system.

But before that I can suggest you one more thing. This is:
Download and open the insider hub app via Microsoft store > in the available previews click on the windows gaming program and join > once joined try waiting a bit and check the Microsoft store for new updates

Once you update the Xbox related apps restart the PC and check if you’re able to install games again

If not you can leave the windows gaming program and please proceed with the custom installation (you can recover personal files later)
