    The insider program is tied to the account, not the console correct?


    I wanted to factory reset my console, erase everything including games and apps, does this remove me from the insider program and the insider ring I'm currently in?

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The Xbox Insider program should allow you to join as long as the account meets all the correct qualifications, and the console is signed in to the correct account. The article entitled

    Get the Xbox Insider Hub App     contains details about joining the Xbox Insider program. The

    Xbox User Reddit     is where our Xbox Insider users will go to post issues with the Insider program. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Thank you for keeping us updated. Using the Xbox Insider HUB on someone's console will allow the account to unenroll from the Xbox Insider program. The device that is unenrolled will not be completely removed from the Xbox Insider program until the next
    update. Make sure the correct account is signed in to the Xbox One. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Thank you for reaching out. Make sure your account isn't a child account, as only adult accounts can join the

    Xbox Insider Program    . Even if you have your correct date of birth on your Microsoft account, if the account was originally created as a child, it will be considered so until it matures.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your Xbox One is unable to complete a system update. If you decide to remove your console from the

    Xbox Insider Program    , the console will remain enrolled in the program until the next update. Therefore, your console may still be enrolled in the Xbox Insider Program. This could explain why the system update is not working correct. The best option in this
    scenario is to reach out to the Xbox Insider support team through the
    Xbox Insider subreddit    . If you can access the
    Xbox Insider Hub App    , you can provide feedback through there. Be sure to let us know the results NikkRJ!

    Having issues opting out of the preview program.

    Check to see what profile you have as the home Xbox it might night even be on your profile. You have to be selected to be a part of the program and you have to verify your account. When you do opt out the correct way. It will take until the next scheduled
    update to remove the program from the account.
