    The gamertag is mine and I can't use it, how does this work?


    Hi,

    I initially used the GT "Bruno Riggs", later I started using "FRT Riggs" and then "SFS Riggs", today I want to go back to "Bruno RIggs", but the system does not allow it. Interesting that if I put brunoriggs in the profile url, it shows exactly my profile, SFS Riggs. So how can I not use it again? Did the system crash my old GT? This is very strange.

    Bruno, putting a gamertag on the Xbox profile URL page will not show you the profile for that gamertag if it does not exist/is not being used - it will show your profile instead. I'll attach an image below where I put random letters on the Xbox profile page and as you can see, my profile/gamertag page loaded and I'm not nearly close to the random letters I used on the URL - because no one is using this gamertag.

    You can search online for gamertags that are being used or are free to be used, but keep in mind that even if a gamertag is not being used, sometimes the system just does not approve it as a gamertag. And since there is no manual review for a gamertag, if the system is not allowing it, it cannot be used and there is no workaround for it. Sorry about this and I hope you understand.

    I want to change my gamertag to "LimJinn" I think I can't change because I have used "LimJinn" to register ".onmicrosoft.com" account. But this account is mine. Is this why I can't change gamertags?

    Are you using the same gamertag that you made the save files with? How are you moving the files between consoles?

    Some Forza saves can't be copied or moved for some reason.I managed to move mine ok but a couple of friends of mine couldn't move theirs at all.
