The gamepass doesn't open my games, I don't know if it's a problem with my pc or windows.

May I know if you tried reinstalling the drivers manually for your computer?

Also, which Windows version do you have actually on your PC?

May I know if you already tried this:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

Now, sign out from your account on both Xbox app and Microsoft Store and do this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Finally do this:

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

Sign in again on both Microsoft store and Xbox app with your account and try again

If that doesn't work try this:

You're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command:

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" (without the "")

Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

Another thing to try is update to windows 11 if you're able to do it.

The thing with the HDD can be a reason, are you able to test with another one?

Or install the system to another HDD in case you have more than 1 inside your PC

I did absolutely everything you told me, it still doesn't work.

I begin to suspect that it is because of my hard drive, some error that it has because it is an HDD, but at the same time it seems to me a somewhat exaggerated idea.

Can't you think of any other solution? It should be noted that this windows is newly installed, so I don't think that reinstalling it will work.

Well I assume by following your first instruction I did indeed reinstall Windows 10 already.

The only game I can open is 'Halo Infinite' as its a free to play game online (that doesn't require pc gamepass). So the fact that I can open that game on the Xbox app tells me it may be a pc gamepass issue.

Do you know how I could contact a Microsoft employee to check out my account (and possibly give me a refund if im out of luck)?

make sure all your windows updates are done, also open the windows store and make sure all the updates are in on there too.

yes gamepass on PC is dire which is why i mostly don't use it and get all my games elsewhere.
