    From 3 days I can not play the games of the game pass, when I start the xbox app and click on the game I want tab opens the game does not start and opens microsoft store with the "game services" Today I lost a whole day and I had no resolution.



    I said in xbox support and they said they cant help me and sent me links for windows support. I contact windows and they tell me that my operating system is ok and that the xbox team must fix the problem. I am tired, I keep losing pass days after I subscribe. Anyone know the solution? Thank you

    Let’s try to isolate the problem a bit more.

    Please try this:

    A. Reinstall Gaming Services using powershell command

    Press Windows key + X and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

    Type or copy / past the following command and press Enter:

    Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

    Restart the PC and Open the Xbox application.

    A blue notification with the following message is going to appear at the bottom:
    "This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install"

    Select Install to reinstall Gaming Services, once installed check again

    B. Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily
    Restart the PC and try again

    C. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

    D. Create a new local administrator user in your PC and try from there

    Hi, thanks for sharing that. Before trying the previous advise I can suggest you other things:

    A. If you have the game installed on a different drive than C: please move the game to the C: drive (or do the opposite, if the game is stored on the C: drive, move it to another drive)

    B. Can be a bit odd, but repair and reset the Forza horizon app 3 times. For this go to windows settings > apps > search for Forza horizon app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset (And try again once the buttons are clickable)

    C. Reinstall the game (if possible, on a different drive)
