The game(Minecraft) do not install from game disk to my xbox 360 hard drive

Hello!

I was installing games from game disks to my hard drive following this instruction.

When I started installing Minecraft:

I inserted the game disc into the disc drive;

From the home hub selected the game in the drive tray, and pressed X on
my controller;

But there was not option "Install", I could only launch the game from the noisy disk drive...

Can I solve this problem and install the game to the hard drive? Is it possible to install Minecraft to the hard drive like other games?

The game from your disk will install to the Xbox One hard drive (It's mandatory), and you will need to keep the disc in the drive, just like you do with the Xbox 360.

If i install my game into my hard drive, do i still need the original disk to play it from the hard drive?

Thanks for bringing this issue to us! Sounds like the console cache might be full or might not have enough space to actually install the disc.

Clear out the cache and let us know if that helped!

I have 197 GB of free space, I think it is enough for the game.

I have cleared out the cache but option "Install" has not appeared.

I have successfully installed four games on the hard disk and only Minecraft have a problem.

I have deleted all game data, including updates but it has not help.

The xbox options shows that I have 197 GB free space of 229 GB total. So, the Xbox OS should be on 32 GB used space, not on 197 GB free space, right?

As I mentioned before, I can only launch the game from the disk drive; I have neither option "Install" nor option "Delete".

Thanks for the reply! I found this posted directly from the
Mojang Forums regarding this issue, It's an Xbox Live Arcade game, which means that it can't. I don't know 100% why, but I'm assuming it's to ensure that there's no piracy. So check them out and let us know if we can further assist with this or any
issue!
