    Tried everything, and xbox still disconnects from xbox live after a few minutes.

    Another update, I've convinced my parents to move the router to my room so I can connect my xbox to the router with an Ethernet cord. I don't disconnect from xbox live anymore (I don't think), however I am still getting disconnected from games (I think I'm
    losing connection to the game servers). To be clear, I was losing connection to xbox live before (I was getting the message at the bottom that the connection was lost).

    my console didn't break in this exact way, so I don't get a game evidently...

    They aren't losing $60 per game LOL. They are only offering Microsoft games for free download, not all of them. If they are losing any money at all it is very little. More than likely only losing potential income from the people who may have ended up purchasing
    it who were given it for free if anything.

    Hi! In this rather specific case the Xbox Support team should be able to help and add the Game with Gold to your account since it can't ne obtained for free as a Gold member as of yet: Contact Us | Xbox Support

    Why we need xbox live for free games?

    I agree it would be great if we could enjoy the free games, at least, without needing Xbox Live. If you cancel or lose your Xbox Live, all of the free Games with Gold also disappear until you activate Xbox Live again.

    Well, I would be fine with be reset I guess. As long as I'm not banned from Xbox Live, and lose all my games I've bought on the market place. :/

    5 free games this December... well 3 really. (games with gold < Ps free games with Plus )

    And what if someone does not own a xbox one or 360? Why should they lose out just because you don't like the choices of free games this month?

    Personally i'm not that impressed with this months offerings but hey,free is free so i'm not complaining.
