    The friend you have does not have a valid game session


    Can someone give some information on why suddenly me and my buddies can't join each other in the pre-game lobby? It had been working up to about a week or maybe two weeks ago?

    We had been playing and able to join each other recently. We've reset and restarted the xbox and game.

    Joining pre game lobbies

    Anytime I or anyone else for that matter tries to join a pregame lobby they are met with

    ERROR: This friend does not have a valid game session to join

    However no problems with joining an active in game lobby.

    Fix this.

    Just want to add that friends and join if a match is already in progress and there is room to join. However we can't join up as a team in the lobby. Would be nice to again if we can figure this out. This a game or server or host issue? I run a OPEN NAT all
    the way. Single NAT network. Been no issues with other games. I had to switch to BO3 last nite so I could game with friends. Hope someone can check on this or post with some info.

    Why can i connect to my friend who lives in Idaho?

    Does he have his session open to friends? Are you trying to join off of an invite or just joining session in progress?
