  1. The fan on my Series S is still on after a few minutes

When I turned off my Xbox, the fan stayed on for a few minutes, but my Xbox is in energy-saving mode. So I was wondering why the fan stayed on for so long although my Xbox is in energy-saving mode.

Is it normal for the fan to stay on for that long or should I be concerned?

    :)

Xbox Series S Crashes after playing for a few minutes

I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

To determine if it's a problem with the console hardware or with the game you might want to test other games and see if the same happens.

If you use an external hard drive with the console, move the game to the console's internal memory, remove the external hard drive, and test if the issue occurs

If the problem persists and happens with several other games, I'm afraid your console may need to be repaired. This link has instructions on how to ship your console to Microsoft.

The series/games are not my cup of tea, but good news for the fans.

I'm not a fan of the series either. The first episode put me to sleep after 15 minutes. I did like Season 1 of the game however. I just wished it wasnt so dang buggy.

Xbox Series S Fan isn't humming like normal.

So usually when I play on my series s the fan makes a loudish noise....
The Series S, just like the Series X is designed to be quite, in normal gaming (even when play X|S optimised games) the Series S fan should not be audible. It should be pretty much silent.

Have you changed the location of where your console is located? These consoles get warm (hot even), this is normal. So their location is actually more important than hearing the fan spinning.

Series s loses signal to TV after a few minutes of playing.

Hello B B! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is the console staying on but TV signal goes or is the whole console powering off? If its fully turning off then it might be worth trying a different power cord or if its plugged into an extension then plug directly.

Sounds like this might need to go for service as you have already done a lot.
